Shenyang South Railway Station was built in March 2010 and put into use on September 1, 2015. The total construction area of the station is 254,200 square meters, and the waiting hall is 31,000 square meters, which can accommodate 10,000 passengers at the same time. The station has 26 arrival and departure lines, 12 platforms and 22 platforms, with the capacity to send 17.72 million passengers in the near future and 40.5 million passengers in the long term.

The traditional elements, such as Manchu ornamentation, are cleverly integrated into the design of the suspended ceiling through abstraction and simplification. In the layout of the ceiling, the staggered shape is like a beating note, giving the space a smart atmosphere.
