Wuxi Metro Line 1 is the first metro line to be put into operation in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China. The main line (from Yanqiao Station to Changguangxi Station) was put into trial operation on July 1, 2014, and the South extension line (from Changguangxi Station to Nanquan Station) was put into operation on September 28, 2019. As of September 2019, the total length of Wuxi Metro Line 1 is 34.6 kilometers. The above ground section is 7.25 km and the underground section is 27.35 km. There are 27 stations.
