Wuhan Tianhe International Airport is located in Huangpi District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, 25 kilometers away from Wuhan city center, as the first 4F-class civil international airport in central China, the second phase expansion project was completed in April 2008. The third phase of the expansion project was substantially started in June 2013, passed the completion acceptance in June 2017, passed the industry acceptance and put into use in August 2017. On November 2, 2023, the T2 terminal renovation project of Wuhan Tianhe Airport passed the industry acceptance and will be officially opened by the end of 2023. As of April 2024, Wuhan Tianhe International Airport has two terminals, the total area of Terminal 3 is 495,000 square meters, and the total area of Terminal 2 is 158,400 square meters. It has 2 runways.
